MySchool provides a comprehensive record management system, and we understand that a student's scholastic history is an important data point for school & student management.
How to access
To add other schools to student's profiles, you need to create them first. Super Key users can access the create feature via Administer/Advanced options.
Search for Administer other schools. If you have regular feeder schools or are set up into districts with a promotion system then use this function to create a predefined list for your new student cohort.
Click Add School to open the pop-up, and add a name. The code fields are optional.
As the screenshot shows, you can see students who have been attached to the school. A school cannot be deleted if a student has been attached via their profile. This will check all student records, from your archived data.
Adding a school to the student profile
These schools can be added to students' profiles and are viewable on the enrolment tab. In edit mode, then click on No schools if no schools are listed. If the student already has a school listed and you want to edit or add more then click on the school name. A pop-up will appear.
- Open the Add school pop-up.
- Choose Add school
- Add a school from the list or change the + to a negative and create a new school directly from here. Use the update to add the new school to the drop-down list.
- Update and close
Don't forget to save the profile afterwards.
