As part of the core SIS package, behaviour monitoring is a great way to handle student monitoring outside of the academic structure. It can be used for prize days and awards.
Top tip: If you want to change the text labels of this module and the tab within the student profile. Your CSM can help you with this. Contact our support team for more information.
Module details
The operational tools for this module are listed under the behaviour module header, with configuration options from the configuration panel, located in the Education tab or via advanced options.
Reporting an event
A fully configurable, quick and simple way to log a behaviour or monitoring event. Customise the locations, types and sub-types. Fill out the details which can be published to the student and guardian portal if needed. Contact your CSM if you wish to add these to their portals.
You can attach files, and determine who will be informed automatically of the event. Use it for positive behaviour and attach points to the event types.
A great tool to reward and track progress during the year.
Behaviour Reports & History
Once an event has been recorded, detailed reports can be extracted for the school. The view history report provides a quick overview of the events. Commonly used by teachers to address individual events or for parent-teacher discussions. It can be refined to student, school, and author.
Behaviour report is aimed more towards SMTs, Guidance units or users with school-level data access. Central administrators produce bulk data on screen or via Excel. All details are listed.
This function can be individual but is designed for a fuller overview over a longer period.
Both email and in-app notifications are available for this module. It is possible to configure your MySchool SMS Module to send text messages for major misdemeanours.
