Your educators are important to MySchool. The tool is designed to make their every day tasks simpler, allowing them to have more time to teach the students. Course and class Teachers have an inherent user group. These groups will have access to core features. We can create advanced groups if you wish to extend these rights. Note that the class and course teacher user groups include all teachers attached to a course or a class in the current academic year. Reach out to your CSM to discuss access features for your educators.
User toolbar
Educators can access user menu icons and change passwords like other users. By default, course/class Teachers will not have access to time travel. They can have notifications and access the support knowledge base to view articles and videos.
Quick create options are changeable, by default they are;
- Announcements
- Assignments
- Take attendance
- Report behaviour event
Top tip: Your CSM can add other pages to this list. Another useful shortcut could be My LMS. Or Assess?
Dashboard
As a default setting, most course/class Teacher access is restricted to 'Courses and Classes taught'. The dashlets that are mapped for Educators are;

- Parent Teacher meeting appointments (If Admissions module is activated)
- Today's absences (Shows students in the class or courses who have been noted as absent during the day)
- Incomplete attendance (Shows periods for which the educator has not taken attendance today)
- Student birthdays
- Assignments due to day, and assignments that are 7 days overdue for grading.
