Another report tool is Export to excel, a tool which creates specific reports based on the Myschool standard data fields. The options are limited for this report, and is mainly used for exporting information for quick data checks or exports to other software solutions.
How to access
The export to excel may not be activated as default in the Data report list, so please contact our support services to activate this function. It is classed as a restricted report and would be available to Administrators only.
What reports can I export ?
There are two types of report format, one for Users, and the Other for Course information. The reports can be exported to all Excel formats, or you can produce a csv file with the information. The Users are filtered using the People Picker.
The content is listed as below. Select the appropriate content and check the boxes next to the data label. You can select as many as you need.
Press Export when you have completed the selection. If you select course info, then a different set of filters need to be applied as below.
Then the data content available is listed in terms of data sets available. Use the concatenated options to join strings together to give whole names instead of two columns with first and last name, which is the split option.
