The new assessment module is one of the major cornerstones to MySchool 1.8. We have provided the tools allowing schools to customise grade scales, track evidences using Learning outcomes, and build individual subject assessment criteria for your schools reporting needs.
The final part of the tool set is the new Assessment report configuration feature. You can now create your own reports using subject specifications, student comments, and alot more.
Please join one of the live webinars to learn how easy it is to create your reports. If you have any further questions then our support team are available to assist schools with the initial configuration.
Apply to terms and class levels
Individual terms, and class levels can have their own style of assessment report. You can build mid term assessments, and also a comprehensive report template for the end of year.
Why not have monthly snapshots outlining students progress against core competencies?
Front page styled with logo and school details
Fresh design for the front page, which picks up the logo, school details, and student information. Users decide on how to print either 1 page or double sided. You can chose the colour to theme the report to match you logo or school colour scheme.
Subject assessment criteria
The report template will create a layout based on the assessment criteria. Choose between grades, learning outcomes, or assignment averages to provide a few examples. The template will build your assessment sections accordingly.
Static Text
If you wish to explain assessment scales or curricular competencies, the static text block places a text block which can be formatted to your needs.
Attendance data
Configure attendance data over a year, term or on a course basis.
Comment text
Show student self reflections or learning statements which are connected to the Students portal. A comment text box can be placed as an introduction or a summary to the report.
Include a personalised signature to the report to sign off in style.
Building assessment criteria
The new assessment report is only available to schools who have started using subject assessment criteria in the new subject specifications. Our support team will be able to advise you on how to create great assessment reports for all your school levels.
If you are still using legacy contribute then contact our team to discuss migration towards these new functionalities. Legacy report cards will not be affected by this.
Our development team are working hard on other great new features and we will keep you updated on the knowledge base, product release section.
