MySchool 2018/19 scholastic calendar is now half way through it's first term. We have some great projects lined up this year, as many of you are aware. Our Team are preparing for a busy end to 2018, and would like you to help us plan ahead for the end of another successful MySchool year.
We appreciate that your assessment needs may change from year to year, so we ask you to start checking these now.
Here are a few hints & tips :
Check your term management setup (Administer/Advanced options).
If the term is set as 'is schedule' then this will show on Assignments.
If the term is set as 'is exam' then this will appear in the Grade report assessment terms.
Make sure the correct report card is attached to the assessment term.
Ask Teachers to check their course/class lists. Ensure that all students are enrolled in their correct courses, and appear on the contribute/review lists.
3) Verify the Review page
Go to Review and download a copy of the grade report attached to the assessment period. Check the text for dates. Check the signature jpeg if appropriate. Make sure the assessment criteria are correct (Grade scales, Comments, Averages, Learning Outcomes etc).
4) Print a copy
Print out a class report as draft, to check that page formatting is correct, and that any special language characters are being shown correctly.
If you have a test Teacher/student/teacher profiles, then publish a report, and impersonate these users to see if they can access the information.
If you use a real user profile then make sure you Unpublish/Save as draft after testing.
Check the transcript to make sure you have the historical data recorded correctly, and that 2018/19 scholastic year is added.
Any last minute requests for changes may cause delays in your publishing calendar.
Work with us to plan ahead to avoid this.
