MySchool is a community effort, our software is aimed at providing a one-stop-shop for a wide range of educational institutes. Your feedback is what drives our product to be the most practical software which is adaptable and configurable for all your community's needs. We drive our improvements based on real-life use cases, and love to hear your feedback. We don't want to exclude anyone and made available an ideas portal built entirely for this purpose.
Please contact your CSM via our support channel. They will create an account for you to be able to access myschool.ideas.aha.io. it may take 24hrs for the account to be created, but you will receive an email asking you to verify your account and set up your password. We only allow support users to have access to the ideas channel and cannot offer this to a larger user base. You can post on behalf of one of your users though as there are no limitations to the amount of ideas you can submit.
Have a look at what other users have posted
Down the left-hand side, you can see various filters by status, or by category. Have a look to see if your idea is already waiting to be shipped or is being planned. Don't hesitate in adding a comment to the idea or upvoting to add your voice to the suggestion.
Use the tabs in the right-hand side panel to filter by Recent, Trending or Popular. There is a space to search using keywords.
Voting and adding comments
Open an idea and read the initial post and suggestion, and add a comment if you have other ideas if you agree or even disagree. We want all your feedback. Just remember that the comments and ideas posted are public, so don't post any user data or sensitive information about your school.
To vote, then just click on the vote box and it will turn green. Users have an unlimited amount of votes but can only vote once per idea. if you want to unvote then just click on the vote box again to make it grey.
If you want to embellish the idea or offer an alternative use case then enter this into the comment box. if you have a flow chart of a process, or even better a screen mock-up, then attach it as a jpeg.
To keep updated when others comment or our product team gives feedback then use the subscribe button and you will be notified when your idea is updated.
What happens next?
Once submitted, the MySchool product team will review the suggestion. They will add a comment and maybe ask for further details, or offer another solution. They will then change the status of the idea depending on their decision.
If it has been classed as a future consideration, then it is not rejected and forgotten about, but simply that we have a full workload for the short-medium product road map. Planned again does not mean that it will be ready for next week, but that our product team has included the idea in the current product road map. Once the development cycle is complete, we will push to all systems, keep yourself updated on new features by following the Product release section of our knowledge base.
