Introduction to programme builder

MySchool has developed a standalone module that is designed to help postsecondary, higher education, and specialised colleges. It can help organise and manage enrolment and applications. It can also be used for This is called Programme Builder. The module synchronises with the form builder, class and course enrolment, and assessment functionalities available in MySchool.

Whereas our admission module allows for applicants to be enrolled into a class level, the programme builder is designed for enrolment within a specific tailor-made programme content (Streams (curriculum categories) & Modules (courses)).

How to access

Programme builder is a standalone module. It will be activated if this is included in your current package.

What is a programme?

A programme is a coherent way to provide a sequence of educational content to your student population.  It differs from our classic school-level progression system (Grade 1->Grade 2->Grade 3 etc).

Programmes can be stand-alone modules or learning objectives e.g. Intro to Coding - ECDL or a multi-year progressive learning programme e.g. Ba(Hons) European marketing. Students can apply once and progress within the programme or reapply to a new programme on a yearly basis.

Build your own prospectus

MySchool is committed to reducing paper usage by promoting its online suite. the programme builder enables facilities to create a prospectus. Determine the entry requirements, and create a fee structure fee structure for payment. You can also outline learning objectives linked to the programme.

Manage your applicants' list

You manage the registration process and determine the applicant workflow. Programme builder integrates with the functionality available in the admissions module. Here you can create simple workflows, and build amazing customised online forms linked which are linked to the student's profile.

Build assessments and custom grade report

When you create modules, these are attached to a subject and the programme builder will create the course. With this, you can now fully utilise all the assessment features within MySchool, such as course resources, learning outcomes, subject specifications, and create fully customised reports using the assessment report functionality. Class and course enrolments work from our default package, so you can build schedules, manage terms, and control your student enrolments as usual.
