Welcome back everyone!! There are a few important notes in our first development sprint of the new year, and we are really excited with the pipeline over the next few months.

Important note for BC clients

We understand that the ministry has asked for BC schools to add an attendance status labelled 'Illness' to help distinguish between normal absences and health related absences. This is easily achieved by adding a new attendance status via the attendance configuration page, available to Super Users. Please do not amend existing labels as this will affect historic data for attendance. Make sure your attendance takers are aware of the new status before going live.

Assessment report improvement

If you wish to show the passport/id field on the front cover of the default assessment report, you are now able to override the label. Some of our community use this field for other identification means rather than passport/id. 

ID Card validation

We are able to apply a strict id card format within the system settings, to make sure that ID cards are unique and conform to your local or national requirements. This was applicable to profiles only, whereas now the rules are extended to admission forms, and programme application workflows. If you would like to discuss this feature then contact your CSM for further advice.

Programme builder

An additional feature has been added to the programme builder whereby graduation details will be copied across from year to year when the programme is rolled over. We have made some UI improvements on the subject/course/programme pages to allow for large titles. These will show with 3 dots to allow users to view the title in full. This applies to modules and programmes.

Staff consents

In a recent change we added the possibility to add staff consents to your user profiles. In order to help fill enter the data, this functionality has been added to Mass edit. These are created in the consent management screen. 

We have also added restrictions to editing the consent title once it has been created. This is no longer possible, as users were saving blank titles which would not show on the list page. If you wish to change the title, then you must create a new consent for your users.

Minor fixes and improvements;

• Improved the donation campaign message functionality to include new details such as total donated and amount per recipient.
• Corrected the SMS cost calculation to include recipients who were added after initial creation.
• Repaired an issue when save as next or save as close did not update review status.
• In certain cases assessment groups were not showing on subject specifications, this was fixed.
