Due to growing demand from our community, we have created a new functionality that will facilitate the integration between MySchool and other widely used Ed Tech applications. Although we have been able to integrate with SDS and Google suites for some time, we listened to feedback and create a synchronisation tool which is user-friendly.
Integration via Sync Centre is an add-on module for the CORE SIS. Please ask for a quote from your CSM or our sales team.
What is an 'integration'?
In basic terms, it means that your MySchool data can either be pushed or pulled from another online source. The data we can integrate or synchronise will be different per application. In some cases, we cannot push or pull a certain field as it doesn't have an equivalent source or destination.

What do we have to do to set this up?
Sync centre is a new package. Contact your CSM to update your contract. Once we have everything in place we can activate the page for super users. Read through the set-up articles, and ensure you have access to the third-party software and its API credentials. Configure your sync and test it before going live. Each night at 00h00 local time, the system will look to sync. If you need to test before that time, you can manually process this in the appropriate sync configuration.
Google classrooms and assignments
Google Classroom is a push feature from MySchool to Google courses and rosters. Assignments are a pull feature where we pull information to MySchool.
When selecting Google, you will need access to the console panel of Google Console. please contact your local IT resource for help if you do not have access. For the full breakdown then please follow this article.
Manage Bac
Manage bac integration is slightly different, you will need to find the API key and add it to the configuration panel. You will need to map the different entities from each system. For Manage Bac we offer to pull information from their platform to MySchool.
Open Apply
With open apply, then you will need to find the Endpoint, client ID, and client secret key. Note that with open apply the sync needs to be applied to a specific academic year. We pull information from Open Apply for student and guardian details only.
Xero
Integration with Xero is all controlled via their console. Please consult their internal support document to set. Choose the school and the financial organisation to sync with. For certain functionalities, we can push, pull or do both. A
SDS (One Roster)
We integrate with Teams via Microsoft One Roster, so that we can push your class/course enrolment directly to Teams every year. Options are available to choose which classes and courses you wish to create. You will still need to rollover your Teams to the new year and activate the sync to create new enrolments.
Financial package integration
Although not created within the sync centre we can integrate with online payment providers. We are partnered with Stripe for our tuition management and admissions modules.
