If your school has activated the module, you will need to enrol your account in the scheme. This will depend on whether they have made it mandatory or not.
Once activated, the user will need an authentication app and code to be able to log in.
Schools will set an enrolment period, allowing users a time frame to enable their accounts. If you need to confirm details, please reach out to your school directly.
Step 1: Download the authenticator app
We would suggest using Google, but it will work with other well-known solutions.
Step 2: Set your enrollment details
If MFA has been activated, you will be presented with the following screen. This will appear on first login, or it can be accessed using the account icon. Select the MFA, and a slide-over screen will appear.
Scan the code to add your device to your verified device list. It is best to add a profile name.
Step 3: Login
When you have enrolled on MFA, you will still log in using the same credentials (primary email and password).
A new step is introduced, asking you for the 6-digit code generated by the authenticator.
Step 4: Verify your enrolment
Return to view your account details, and open the MFA screen. It shows the profile name of the device that is synced.
