New IEP module update

We're excited to bring you an update and release plans for our brand new IEP module. We know a lot of you have been asking for this and we've been working hard to complete this tool.

Over the past two years, we have seen a significant change in how IEPs are planned, notably a move towards setting SMART goals. During this time, we have been talking to schools and experts about how we can rebuild our IEP module.

We planned to release this in Q3 and for the most part we're on track to do this. In order to give you an IEP tool we were really happy with, we've decided to release some elements of the tool in a second phase and delay the first phase by a couple of weeks. As soon as phase one is released to everyone, we will plan the release of phase two.

Our new IEP module includes: 

• An improved interface 
• Configuration of the specific IEP entities.
• Creation of an IEP.
• Schedule meetings within the IEP tool.
• Setup IEP teams.
• Add specific accommodations.
• Add SMART objectives.
• Assessing SMART Objectives -this is planned for phase two.
• Add Provisions.
• IEP rollover (individual/group).
• Create PDF
• Can be configured per school.

You can apply for early access to IEP v2 now if you are on our Communicate or Enterprise packages. To opt in please contact francesca.bruno@msm.ioso that she can schedule the release of the module for you. Current activation time is approximately 2 weeks.

All MySchool clients will be switched to IEP v2 by June 2023.
