MALTA - NSO Tool

MySchool has reports to help with official data requests when requested. The NSO report generator can be mapped to the Data Reports menu header in MySchool. The report is based on the school level and takes your school's attendance data.

Exported data

Enter a date for the cutoff and generate the report. This may take a few moments for larger schools. The export is in XL format and lists the fields as required. It will calculate attendance figures based on your schools attendance data, and your configuration. To make sure the absences are counted, then tick the Abs column against the attendance status you wish to count. Not Exc. will count them as unauthorised in the report.

If you have attendance set up for every lesson, then absence will be counted if the student has this status for one of these lessons. To change this make sure you have an internal protocol on attendance status usage. Attendance data needs to be entered for you to produce reports. Check gaps regularly during the scholastic year. 

To ensure you have a complete data set, use the audit tool and check the status of submissions. Contact support to access this tool.
