Each step, excluding payment steps, needs to have a form. You can create these from the Admissions configuration page. Select Add Form to start building your applications.
Give the form a label and determine whether it should be saved to the student's profile as a PDF file.
These online forms are based on a tabular view, called sections. Select Add section to start building your form.
Add a title and a subtitle to explain the components. Add lines to grab components from the options shown on the right.
Top tip: When building the forms, think about how much information you need, but also don't forget that you can use design elements to provide information, and brand your form. Try to keep each section distinct. Also assess how it would look on different devices and smaller screens. Cut up the information into smaller tabs.
Student (Applicant fields)
Each field is connected to the student profile field. You can use the different fields once per form. The submitter will only have to fill it out once. Each form that uses the name will show the information previously collected.

Don't forget to collect the target academic year and add that to the first form in your workflow. This will classify the application correctly when working on the flow management screen.
Guardian section
Guardian details need to placed on a separate section and the section should only have fields labelled Guardian details. Guardians, Guardians details and Guardians - Other.
On the live version, when published, each of these fields will be repeated, and the option to add a guardian will appear. This allows the submitter to fill out their details, then add another guardian to the student profile. The add guardian button does not appear in preview mode.
Only the submitter will have access to the application flow.
Field options
You can grab and reorganise the fields with your mouse when they have been added to the section. Open the cog option where you can change the field label, add a help text bubble, or make the field mandatory.
In the applicable year field, you can add which years are available. These years must be created in your year management page first.
If you need to have custom fields to hold vital information on either the guardian or student profile, then reach out to our support help with the request. These fields need to be configured on the system before they can be used in a form.
Design elements
These elements are not connected to the student's profile. They allow you to ask questions specific to your school or enrolment process. The 'File' option allows the submitter to add files to the flow, like previous grade reports or a signed acceptance form. These will be saved to the student's profile.
If you need the submitter to sign off on terms and conditions, then why not combine the questions? Here we use a text field and a radio question with one option only. Why not add a date picker to timestamp the acknowledgement?
Embellish your forms with rich text fields
The forms act as a brochure for the school; use the rich text design elements to add hyperlinks, images, and great formatting.
The more information or help you give the submitters, will reduce the number of steps needed to reopen will be reduced, or even lower the dropout rate.
What about internal forms?
Each external and internal need a form. For your internal forms, consider using design elements like a check box to help the team follow your process.
Any field used in an external form can be placed on an internal form. Why not add the files field to make it easier to access submitted documents?
They don't need to be styled.
