MySchool admissions can handle inquiries, new applicants, but also help out for re-enrolment. Each year you can open an admission workflow and ask your current guardians to confirm if their dependant student will be returning.
Open and set up the workflow, and change the application type to 'Re-enrolment'. Reduce the years to be the next academic year. You can have one form for the entire school or break the workflow by school or class levels.
Building a reenrolment workflow
With reenrolment, the forms used will pull information already entered on students and guardian profiles, so the users will only need to update change of contact details or preferences.
Nb: Please make sure on your forms when collecting data, that users should not change the ordering of the guardians already populated, nor update their primary emails. If the guardian submitter changes their primary email, they will be logged out of the system. Use a rich text info box to advise guardians to contact the admin office to change this.
Make the flow simple with just an external form. If you are using the tuition management module, you can add a payment or a payment plan step.
When the submitting guardian has completed your workflow, you can directly enrol the student into their new class level for the next academic year.
Form elements to consider
With the reenrolment form, you can collect fresh medical information, and ask parents to update or confirm consent.
That way you won't need to send questionnaires. If you do not have an appropriate field on the student or guardian profile, but would like to hold information and renew this yearly, we can build custom fields for you. These can be completed on the admissions reenrolment form and stored on the appropriate profile.
