FAQ - Can I organise Parent teacher meetings for class Teachers?

The parent-teacher module is designed for parents to choose slots with course Teachers. If you have grade advisors or form/class Teachers, they will not be included in the options. However, with a slight workaround, you can create slots for them as well. Just make them the course teachers for their class!

Step 1: Create subjects

Create a subject per class level required. Don't forget to give it a unique name. If you use a homeroom course for attendance purposes, why not use this instead? 

Step 2: Create courses and attach them to the subject

Create courses and add the class teacher and their respective students to these courses.

Step 3: Create slots with other courses or a standalone meeting

Assign the newly created course to be the only course available, or add others where appropriate.

Your users can now select a slot to meet with the class Teacher.
