FAQ - No terms or assessment logic have been set for this course. What does this mean?

On the Student Assessment grid page, a message on the screen says" No terms or assessment logic have been set for this course". You will need access to subject specifications, courses, and term management to be able to check and solve this problem.

Check your assessment logic

1. Find the subject to which the course is attached. Is this the correct subject? If not attach to a relevant subject with a valid assessment build.
2. Check the assessment build in subject specifications

Each subject needs to have a valid assessment build for the period. Add assessments if there are none configured.

Check your terms

1. Find the course and make sure the correct terms are applied.
2. If nothing shows then add a valid term configuration.
3. If there are terms, you need to check if they are active. Go to term management and open the term configuration panel. The blue boxes must be ticked and the date ranges must be within your year date parameters.
