Nearly summer and a well-deserved break. Our engineers have been super busy with a major code update, and plenty of optimisations to improve the performance of your MySchool platform. Here is a list of improvements and other ad hoc tasks, they have been working on during May;

Behaviour/Attendance tab update

We have made a minor change to the attendance stats shown on a student profile. If no attendance is noted, it will show a blank rather than 0%.

The calculation has not changed and will show the Number of absences/Number of attendance statuses during the period as a %. Check out the student profile article for a detailed explanation.

Add colour to your grade reports

Based on user feedback in our ideas channel, we have added a new feature to the assessment grade report builder. You can now select a colour for your subject subheaders.

This new feature is available on the assessment report configuration panel. The headers and sub-headers will descend in a gradient of the primary colour selected.

Other ad hoc tasks;

• School (BC) - Updated CRS file with missing data.
• Project (MT) - Worked on translation update for parent portal.
• School (BC) - Cleaned redundant class levels that had been wrongly created.
• Project (MT) - Updated custom transcript with further requests.
• System - Resolved a problem when the multi-delete warning was appearing with single-cell deletes on the assignment grade grid.
• Project (MT) - Improved ASC ordering on the programme builder list view.
• School (MT) - Fixed an issue with IEP course accommodations not saving correctly.
• Project (EU) - An issue was noticed that grade reports could not be downloaded correctly from the assessment tab. This was fixed. 
• School (BC) - Updated boarding house travel system with new locations.
• School (MT) - Resolved an assessment data export error.
• School (BC) - Fixed an issue with announcement formatting which added padding and hid buttons in read mode.
• School (BC) - A problem was encountered when CA module was activated. This was blocking the default AA Avg from populating assess and review.
• School (BC) - CA AVG bars were not populating for staff and students. This was reverted and the bars were fixed.
• System - Fixed an issue where multiple credit items could be added to an invoice by double-clicking on the invoice line.
• School (MT) - Resolved a problem with the announcement people picker which did not populate directly using bus routes.
• School (NA) - Fixed an issue where grade report terms were not indexed in order.
• School (NA) - Issue with system error when deleting a student profile.
• School (NA) - Resolved a system error on the assignment page. 
• System - Programme builder bulk mail functionality will now be sent from the individual school in a multi-school instance.
• Project (MT) - Update to CDR create functionality which allowed for duplicate profile creation. This has now been fixed.
• School (MT) - Updated DQSE grades for 23/24.
• School (EU) - Updated parameters to custom ethnicity field.
• System - Improved mobile view of new list views to include action button by default, with no scroll needed.
• School (BC) - Fixed a problem where graduated students were not included in the announcement people picker audience.
• System - Resolved an issue where the contact person's signature was not populating the invoice template when activated.
• System - Resolved a formatting issue with the assignment grade grid.
• Project (MT) - An issue was noted with a custom report. This was fixed and the report was able to be downloaded.
• System - The view account page was changed to show the legal name instead of the common name on all systems.
• School (MT) - Worked on DQSE grades for 23/24.
• School (BC) - Improved optimisation of full-year grade grid working.
• System - Fixed an issue with the notifications configuration page which was showing a system error.
• System - Readded undo and redo buttons to announcement rich text editor bar.
• Schools (MT) - Updated two schools with DQSE data for 23/24.
• School (BC) - Resolved an issue with grade report statistics not populating correctly.
• System - Fixed an issue with legacy view duplicates page.
• System - An issue was noted in event management with food orders not populating correctly.
• School (BC) - System error on PSR download was fixed.
• Project (MT) - Resolved an error with a custom NSO data report.
• School (MT) - The issue noted on custom SFM XML was solved.
• School (MT) - Resolved a system error noted on DQSE download.
• System - Fixed an issue where users could be added to schools in multi-school system user groups.
• Project (MT) - Custome CDR list view was showing approved requests. They now do not show by default.
• Project (EU) - Updated custom translation page to be year-specific.
• System - Improved assignment grade grid scroll bar to show horizontally without scrolling to the bottom of the course list.
• Project (MT) - Fixed an issue with the custom awards report.
• Project (EU) - An issue was noted on the attendance stats in student profiles that did not show individual absence events. This was fixed system-wide.
• School (BC) - Various issues causing PSR to not download correctly were fixed.
