With the end of semester two upon us, here are a list of fixes and improvements released since the start of the year.

New discount calculations

There are multiple ways to add a discount to your fees with tuition management. If you are using the staff and sibling discounts, these are applied in order. We have now introduced a new type of calculation whereby both discounts are calculated on the original fee. For further explanations, please check out this article explaining how you can manage your discounts.

Date range introduced to guardian assignment page

We replaced the date feature which only worked on the current academic year with the functionality that allows guardians to view assignments from previous academic years. Note that the required student needs to be selected to show their assignments in case of siblings. It should default to the current academic year, but will show all years available in the system.

Publish/Unpublish IEP's in bulk

We have introduced a new functionality to help facilitate the publishing  and unpublishing of IEP's. Select the IEP's with the check box. The options will appear in the header.

Here is a list of issues, bugs, tasks, and general system updates;

• School (BC) - Deleted a duplicate relationship type.

• School (BC) - Updated donation receipt with new school logo.

• System  - Previewing invoice templates will use the settings from the configuration panel, notably currency settings.

• System - Introduced a new pending status for online stripe payments. Previously they would have been counted as paid, whereas in reality, the payment was waiting for approval from the bank. Now the pending payment will not be calculated in the customers balance until a final status is confirmed via Stripe.

• System - Student subject selection options were missing when the module was activated for the first time. This will be automatically added from now.

• System - Cleaned a problem where replacement teachers were not able to take attendance. This was improved and now they can take attendance as normal for courses they are nominated as the replacement teacher.

• School (BC) - Updated hard coded legacy transcript to adapt to new assessment configuration.

• System - When learning outcomes were graded with a numerical value it was noted that different pages used different calculations for the average. They are now conform and show same value across screens

• System - Fixed an issue where custom SMS templates were not populating the send screen. 

• System - A bug was introduced that stopped the ability for users to print their timetables. This was fixed across the pages using this functionality.

• System - Fixed an issue in the people picker that had stopped showing individuals when a type had been selected. This was fixed.

• School (EU) - Introduced custom attendance feature for primary grade reports.

• School (MT) - Changed staff signature on donation receipts.

• School (BC) - Resolved a problem with a corrupt relationship which blocked the opening of a students IEP.

• System - When a user had a primary email change, it was noted that historic communications were no longer logged. This was resolved and all communications will now show regardless of primary email.

• System - Appointments set in a room timetable did not save the room in the event. This was fixed.

• School (MT) - Updated tax rebate form to show values from legacy and new tuition management module.

• School (BC) - Adapted grade report formatting to allow for large inline comments to wrap correctly on the PDF.

• System (BC) - Updated both CRS and DEM files to use student legal names instead of common.

• System - Resolved a problem which stopped periods showing on the take attendance page.

• Project (EU) - Changed a translation for language subjects on custom legacy report card.

• School (NA) - Changed column labels on custom transcript.

• School (ROW) - Updated transcript to include grade scale table.

• School (ROW0 - Fixed a problem when downloading a custom transcript caused a system error. This was resolved.

• School (EU) - Repaired a problem with comment templates not translating replacement tags when custom gender was used.

• Project (MT) - Fixed a bug which stopped users from updating applicants in programme builder using the bulk update feature. 

• School (NA)  - Updated custom transcript.

• School (EU) - Added custom comment section to S7 grade report.

• School (MT)  - Updated custom tax rebate module to show correct values for 2025 invoiced items.

• Project (MT) - Fixed an issue with attendance reports that was collecting attendance from other schools. The attendance history report is now school specific.

• System - Resolved an issue whereby the staff attendance configuration page was not mapped to all instances.

• System - Resolved a problem with self reflections that were not formatting correctly on the grade report.

• System - Changed the behaviour for attendance audits. Teachers who are absent and replaced will not receive an email asking for missing attendance.

• School (NA) - Updated custom transcript to allow for custom exam scores and credit calculations.

• Project (EU) -  Removed custom attendance section on primary report cards for a selection of schools.

• System - A legacy assessment export could not be downloaded due to a forbidden character in the header. The system will now change character to an accepted character.

• School (BC) - Attendance stats were showing incorrect values when a dual timetable was activated. They will now be included on the student profile for both timetable configurations.

• Project (EU)  - Updated an improvement on BAC grades to only allow an imported value.
