A big welcome back to all our community, 2025/26 has started for some, and others are busy preparing. September is a busy month for us all, and we have some great new releases. Our product and engineering team have an amazing pipeline for Q4, notably with big updates coming to admissions, donations, and more features for Tuition management.

MySchool mobile app
MySchool app for guardians and students is now available from Google and Apple stores for schools that have upgraded to communications +. If you are interested in the app, please reach out to your CSM directly or raise a request for a meeting via our support channel. Check out this article for more information.
Top performing students
We have a new report available that will list the top 3 performing students within a term and a course, using the primary grade as the calculation. The report can be exported to Excel for prize days or awards ceremonies. The report is not available out of the box and must be requested from the support team. Please ask for the Hall of Fame report, and provide the user groups who should be able to access and export these details.
Course exam months (BC community)
Following an idea submitted from our BC community, we have improved the way course exam sessions are set. For CRS type courses, the system will check the month of the last term set in the schedule tab, and add this as the exam month. For XAM courses, no month will be selected, unless January, April, June and November are detected as the final term.
Update to attendance staus configuration
We have added a new column to the attendance statuses screen called 'Offsite'
It is purely for reporting purposes only. It can be extracted using attendance history reports.
Here is a list of updates, fixes and tasks;
System - Import courses required a Teacher type to be set. This is no longer mandatory, and the teacher will be placed as the primary teacher by default.
School (NA) - Finalised work on transcript.
System - Removed the ability for course teachers to send emails outside of the security context via My Courses.
Project (MT) - Updated custom O365 user names which were wrongly created.
System - Removed the permission to edit own applications; this was transitioned to any authenticated user who has access to the admissions module.
System (MT) - Improved the upload behaviour for the MSSRS file. Users must wait for the file to upload before saving.
Project (MT) - Fixed a problem where the paper level was not showing correctly in the list view of the assess grid.
Project (MT) - Added an enrolment status to the programme builder.
System - Improved the school configuration screen. Now able to drag and drop clearly.
System - Improved the flow of import steps, as successful imports only had exit and delete options, which were not clear to users.
Project (MT) - Removed custom ID check from adult users being created via CDR.
System - Removed hard-coded colour logic from the assignment grade grid. Schools can now configure colours in the assignment configuration page for different submission statuses.
School (BC) - Fixed an issue where discount amounts were not being saved correctly on fees.
System - Improved the timeout for downloading class overview via the review page.
System - Resolved an issue where number scale limits were not respected when used on LOs.
School (NA) - Fixed an issue with transcript column headers not aligning with column content.
System - Fixed an issue with announcement preview formats, which were not the same as the sent email.
Project (MT) - An issue occurred with multi-school application forms not being cloneable. This was fixed.
School (MT) - Resolved an issue where assessment grades were not respecting the decimal value setting in subject specifications.
System - Resolved an issue which was stopping users from creating user groups or accessing created user groups. This was fixed.
Project (MT) - Added a new course category to the programme builder.
Project (MT) - Task to reorganise the custom reports list view to have further categories for sorting.
Project (MT) - Import of new custom fields for 25/26 students.
School (NA) - Updated transcript calculation.
System - Updated permissions and roles to use tuition management terminology.
School (NA) - Questionnaires did not respect mandatory field settings. This was fixed.
System - Created a code snippet to resolve announcement attachment issues.
System - Updated ASC import screen to create unique course names when the subject was used for enrolment.
System - Changed the logic for next course and previous course to follow the list view ordering.
System - Added a submitter ID to the admissions flow management export.
Project (MT) - Updated the custom enrolment tool due to a problem with headers freezing.
Project (MT) - Cleaned up users with no context.
System - Resolved an issue with tuition management invoice filters. Certain publishing statuses were not updated on the backend.
System - Updated list view for course timetable options to show all results.
System - Resolved a front-end issue where scroll bars would appear in various list views.
System - Updated the assignment grid font colours to adapt to the background set in assignment type colour. If a dark colour is detected, the font will adapt to white instead of the default black.
Project (MT) - Updated the formatting options for a programme overview slider.
System - Improved the card view layout on the LMS screen to adapt to long course titles correctly.
School (NA) - Updated custom regional report not to include hyphens and spaces in email fields.
System - Removed hard-coded logic that restricted the emergency contact report not to show more than 3 contacts. This will now show all contacts listed as is emergency.
School (NA) - Fixed issue with day mapping not saving correctly.
System - A new permission was created to block users from seeing personal details and being able to export them. This was added to the school directory page only.
School (NA) - Updated custom transcript to seperate school and state courses.
Project (EU) - Updated custom key field following profile merges.
System - Removed all users list page as it was resource heavy.
System - Updated LMS submission rules to mark an assignment as read if a submission is made. This will ignore the resubmission setting.
School (MT) - Resolved an issue where ad hoc schedule lessons were not schowing on the schedule tab of students.
Project (MT) - Resolved an issue when an applicant was manually set to accepted and enrolled, causing payment issues with subesequent programmes. Programme builder was fixed to avoid this.
System - Updated the alerts on the invoice list view to only include missing payers of active students in the current acdemic year.
School (CAN) - Fixed data for consents wrongly set up durng onboarding.
System - Resolved an issue where the new financial year was not found after rollover in tuition management dashbaord.
School (EU) - Updated a custom grade report formatting issue. Text was bleeding outside of box.
School (BC) - resolved a problem with orphaned values on student profile, causing a system error.
System - Fixed a problem with replacement tags not working in the inquiry notificaition mails.
System - Resolved an issue when raising new invoices in tuition management module.
System - Fixed a problem which was blocking users creating new fees in tuition management module.
