New updates to the Tuition management module (Finance)

We continue to build and improve our financial management module based on feedback from our great community. We have several more steps to go, so don't forget to follow the updates section to receive a notification when changes are made. Here is a list of new improvements due for release w/e 11/06/25;

• Change of labels - The term payer/payee is to be replaced by the customer across screens. The module itself will be referred to as the Tuition Management Module.
• New notifications added - Notifications are available in the communications + package. In-app push notifications will be available when an action is confirmed.
• Payment plan discount - Able to now add a discount to your payment plan steps.
• Downloadable receipts - Payments are now attached to a receipt.
• Quick reports v2 - Added new exportable entities to the invoice payer table.
• Bulk emails - They will now use the current outer template used by other announcements.

Multi-factor authentication

By the end of June 2025, we will be able to offer MFA login for our community. For more details, please check out the new system and improved security configuration.

MFA is available in the Core SIS module. If your school is using SAML connection, you cannot activate this. Contact your SAML provider to discuss options with them.

Assignment grade grid

A slight modification to the grade grid, clicking on the assignment title, will create a pop-up. The name of the assignment is blue and is now the link to open the full assignment.

Multi-school admissions workflow

It is now possible to have different admissions workflows for multi-school systems. It will show applicants per school workflow, and not show all applicants.

Clarification of the attendance audit

The attendance audit is a vital tool used to maintain attendance records during the year. It is linked with Staff attendance as well. Here is the breakdown of the colour schemes in use;

Orange		Assigned Teacher set as absent for the day All students in the courses/classes have an attendance status taken by replacement or admin

Here are some more fixes, updates, and tasks completed since the last update;

• System - Completed update on student submission rules and functionality.
• System - Improved ASC import mapping.
• System - IEP meetings were not showing on the guardian calendar view. This was fixed and now should show accordingly.
• System (MT) - Added data validation checks to the MSSRS screen.
• Project (MT) - Cleaned finance data, which was not syncing correctly.
• System - Fixed an issue where emergency contacts were not exported correctly in the questionnaire module.
• School (MT) - Updated term configuration to include is schedule setting.
• Project (MT) -Changed translation strings for the guardian portal.
• System - Changed quick reports assessment to pull common names/surnames for assessment exports.
• System - Removed field validation when saving as a draft for an application form.
• System - Changed quick reports v2 to remove the currency tag from the amount due export value.
• Project (EU) - Added an additional warning when setting staff members as past employees.
• School (MT) - Updated custom tax rebate rules.
• System (MT) - Added subjects that were dropped in years 7-8 to the SSQ&P export. The value must now be included in the transcript to appear.
• School (BC) - Updated custom grade flags for primary grade.
• System - Updated change log audits to show permission status changes.
• System - Updated guardian performance sheet to respect assignment publishing rules.
• Project (MT) - Updated custom report as initial requirements changed.
• System - Updated payment screen to show PAD payment options.
• System - Fixed an error with updated ASC export, causing a system error.
• School (EU) - Changed the name of the principal on the custom ID card generator, custom reports and transcript.
• Project (MT) - Made changes to custom translation for parent UI.
• System - Removed announcement migration tab as it was redundant.
• System - Changed the find replacement tool to only list courses that have a scheduled period on the day.
• System - Resolved an issue with questionnaires, as the file upload tab was not respecting the mandatory is required field.
• System - Resolved a caching issue when a removed LO grade scale was still showing on the list view.
• System - Fixed an issue with LO indexing not respecting date values to show on the assess grid.
• System (MT) - An error was caused due to MSSRS values showing on subjects when it was not needed. This was fixed.
