Welcome back - June - September 2026

Mobile app available for all

From the 1st October 2026, guardians and students will be able to purchase the mobile app via Google Play and the App Store for Mac.  

Notifications will be enabled across all systems. For more information on this feature, please see this article. Users can find their school code by clicking on the user icon. 

After they log into the school as usual, they will be invited to pay. The cost of the app is €24, $28, C$34, respectively, for a year's subscription. For schools that have purchased the communications + module already, their users will continue to access the app as before, and this will be invoiced to the school. In case of any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with your CSM directly.

Admissions

We introduced new fee types for the module when combined with the tuition management online payment. The preset value is the default legacy amount.

• Open Value - Allows for a Min-Max range with a preset default amount shown.
• Checkbox - Allows for a list view of options with individual preset amounts. These items can be multi-selected, and a total is charged.
• Radio buttons - A list of items and their amounts, with single selection only.
• Multi count options - A list of items with a min/max count per item. Each item has a preset amount.

Quick reports v2

We have added the possibility to extract student start date/leave date/Comment. We have also included the schools previously attended. These can now be exported to Excel.

We have also added BC and Ontario tab criteria to this version; these will only show on BC/ON enabled systems.

When exporting course data, you can include the assigned teachers in the export. 

Configurable Parental statuses

Within the student profile legal tab, we have introduced the possibility to add your own parental statuses. There is a new permission which can be added to Super Key users or high-level system administrators. Contact our support team to access this.

Questionnaire updates

We have added the possibility to ask for dentist details when selecting 'Confirm existing data'. This is now an option, and when data is collected, this will update the student profile directly with the name and phone number. We have updated the new_questionnaire/reminder_questionnaire message templates to allow for adding questionnaire title and due date as replacement tags.

Grade report signatories

We have made an improvement to our assessment report builder templates to allow for multiple class teacher signatories to be added to your grade reports. Each Class Teacher must have a signature JPEG file uploaded to their profiles for this to work.

Admissions import functionality

We have new functionality, which will help schools in transitioning legacy admissions data into the MySchool admissions module. If you would like more information on the module or updating your system, please reach out to your CSM for further information.

System (ON) - Added an 'Is compulsory field' for Ontario subject settings.

System (MT) - Updated the MSSRS module to have a student activity Excel export.

System (MT) - Added an ID field override for MSSRS exports.

School (MT) - Cleaned up data for organisations.
System - Reworked legacy grade import.

System - Improved admissions landing page to hold high-resolution images.

System - Fixed an issue with downloading published grade reports after a student merge.

System - Improved the ordering on the student take attendance page so that courses and class lists are alphabetical.

System - Improved layout of filters for the admissions list view to adapt to different common resolutions.

System (MT) - Improved NSO report export for Maltese clients.

School (MT) - Fixed an issue with a custom finance report.

System - Resolved an issue with the re-enrolment admissions workflow.

School (BC) - Fixed a problem with a custom legacy transcript not pulling grades.

System - A bug was introduced with a UI upgrade. This was fixed.

System - Assessment reports were truncating long course headers. They will now wrap on two lines.

Project (MT) - Resolved an issue with bulk update templates not populating in programme builder.

System - Fixed an issue with student applications for the new admissions module.

System - Made an improvement to the LMS assignment creation/grading slideover. Once a user clicks anywhere outside of the assignment slideover, a warning pop-up will inform them that their record has not been saved and ask for confirmation to proceed.

System - Added a copy ad hoc lesson feature to the programme builder.

School (MT)  - Updated custom transport attendance report.

School (ON) - Cleaned up system message lists.

System - Enabled future students who have a start date to be invoiced if they have a future valid class enrolment.

Project (MT) - Updated custom academic record certificate with new grading scales.

System - Updated the Tuition management module to allow deactivation of payment methods.

Project (MT) - Removed phone types and migrated all mobile types to show as cell for SMS's.

System - Updated the unpublish-until assignment date to be after the due date, and it still functions to reveal grades.

System - Re-enrollment workflow was altered to only show students who are enrolled in an active class level in the school.

System - Resolved an issue where quiz question descriptions were no longer showing in the LMS module.

School (MT) - Solved a problem which was not allowing a profile to be deleted due to a discount log.

System - Updated the guardian/siblings to be created directly from the applicant view. These can now be added as a submitter if they are a guardian.

School (BC) - Resolved an issue with legacy donation receipts not downloading correctly.

System (BC) - Improved text wrapping on PSR for long school names.

School (MT) - Fixed an issue with pagination for a custom data report.

System - Moved subject specification advanced options to a slideover rather than a pop-up.

System - Updated the assignment course selection to handle long course labels. They will now fit within the adaptable boxes.

Project (MT) - Added a new replacement tag to pull the external payment platform reference number into email templates.

Project (EU) - Updated custom grade report validations and grade scales for senior-level reports.

Project (EU) - Resolved an outstanding issue with dual-named certificates being produced incorrectly.

System - Changed the permission to access the configuration page. This is now 'Manage modules'.

System - When opening an IEP report directly from a student profile, this will open a new tab in your browser with the PDF.

System - Updated a legacy grade export to adapt to newer assessment builds.

Project (EU) - Resolved a translation issue which would not translate correctly.

School (MT) - Resolved a problem where a student profile could not be deleted.

System - Fixed a bug with multiple course creation. The issue was resolved system- and version-wide.

School (MT) - A legacy migration issue caused custom fields not to render correctly. This was fixed.

System (BC/ON) - Updated quick reports v2 to include Canadian data sections.

School (BC) - Updated custom ledger report to include payment reference.

System - Updated TinyMCE to allow copying from the SMS create page.

System - Fixed an issue with programme statuses being set to closed automatically. They will remain active until manually closed or saved to draft.

System (BC) - Changed a setting which automatically selected the exam month to July upon course creation. This will now default to June.

System - Added Latvian to language tables for student language selection.

System - Solved a bug where custom fields, when set as mandatory, were not included in admission form validation messages. 

School (MT) - Fixed an issue with a profile that could not be deleted due to data issues.

System - Improved TinyMCE versioning across system pages.

Project (MT) - Resolved a problem with the custom interface for a third-party payment provider. 

System - Changed the behaviour of system emails so they now use the outer template by default.

System - Staff members can now be added as a submitter for applications, without a relationship being created automatically.

System - Resolved a bug that was stopping users from uploading files in questionnaires. These can now be uploaded correctly when submitted.

System - Solved an issue in the contact details edit page which was stopping users from updating their telephone numbers.

System -Fixed an issue with the LMS question description box not fitting correctly in the panel.

System - Solved an issue with editable message sending from the programme builder. The option to edit the message should always show.

System - Improved how ASC error logs are shown to the client; more details are included for failed actions.

School (BC) - Resolved a problem with custom PSR showing duplicate subjects. 

System - Updated programme builder to allow for editing of programme types and qualifications when creating new programmes.

System - Added further explanations to the Stripe failed payment report. This will only show to admins and not to the customer.

School (MT) - Updated custom legacy grade report to show incomplete status for grading if one of the components is set to incomplete.

System - Resolved a 500 error, which was caused by a staff/parent view switch when the parent view had been disabled in one school.

School (BC) - Cleaned historic medical data.

System - Added new permission 'View modules' for users to be able to access the configuration page.

School (BC) - Resolved a system error when payment plans were selected.

System - Fixed an issue with users being unable to use student view within the LMS content page. 

Project (MT) - A bug was introduced with a custom application workflow for walk-in candidates. This was fixed, and students could be created and logged as applicants.

Project (MT) - Improved the layout on a custom grade screen.

System - Added language-delivered options to programme builder. Options are English, Maltese or Both.

School (BC) - Cleaned old legacy term data.

System - Made improvements to the change audit screen.

System (MT) - Made changes to the custom NSO report export.

System - When subsequent steps were set to external, users were unable to complete the form attached to the admissions workflow. This was resolved.

System - Fixed an issue which was stopping users from configuring new Stripe payment methods.

Project (MT) - Solved an issue which was blocking course information from loading from the My Schedule student tab.

System - Resolved an issue blocking subject specifications from being rolled.

System - Resolved an issue with replacement tags that were not populating correctly.

School (BC) - Fixed a problem with custom fields not populating correctly whilst using mass edits.

School (BC) - Fixed an issue which was causing saved admissions forms to be unreadable when downloaded from the student profile.

System - Admissions bulk email templates were not loading correctly in the Admissions list view. This was fixed.

School (MT) - Update programme statuses to be custom for each instance, and not a shared resource.

Project (MT) - Resolved an issue where free programmes would not automatically admit the candidates, therefore causing confusion in stats. Once a candidate is enrolled on a free programme and completes the application, they will show as 'Accepted'.

School (EU) - Resolved an issue with custom transcript.

School (MT) - Fixed an issue with the legacy grade statistics report.

School (BC)  - Solved a data issue created by empty households created in questionnaires. This was causing edit problems with attached students.

System - Resolved a system-wide problem which was blocking the impersonate function.

School (BC) - Fixed an issue with an unmapped permission and page that was giving a false path in the configuration page.

System - Solved an issue which was not allowing users to log into systems due to a system-wide versioning update.

Project (MT) - Updated system data report with custom fields.

Project (MT) - Fixed an issue where applicants could not submit their employment application forms.

System - Updated print timetables to include students' class name, the same as printing from the schedule tab of a profile.

System - Updated admissions emails to send from the selected user's email rather than the actual admin sender.

Project (EU) - Resolved an issue with promotion rollover not working as expected. 

System - V17 error was causing custom SQL groups not to save. 

System - V17 versioning caused issues with Quick reports v2. This was fixed system-wide.

System - V1 Students could not be added as applicants from the programme edit view. This was fixed.

System - V17 parent portal was not updating correctly. This was fixed in the release.

System - V17 issues blocked files from being uploaded in the admission workflow.

System - V17 caused issues with learning outcome imports.

System - V17 issues caused assignment submissions to not save attached files.

Project (MT) - Updated custom academic record to use course credits instead of subject credits.

School (MT) - Updated legacy custom grade report logo.

System - V17 had an issue when assignments could not be credited. This was fixed in the release.

Project (MT) - Updated custom endorsement validation steps within programme builder.

School (BC) - Resolved an issue with incomplete ES audit exports.

System - V17 fixed a problem with address labels being exported as blank. This was resolved in the release.

School (EU) - Untis timetable import was not allowing multiple teachers to be assigned to the same course. This was fixed.

System - Quick reports v2 will now only pull siblings from direct relationship types.

Project (MT) - Solved an issue where the programme rollover year would be the furthest future year instead of allowing users to select a target year. This behaviour was changed.
