With a very busy year in planning and product pipeline, here are a few of our early releases and improvements to the system.

My Course Diary (Student/Guardian)

There is a slight change to these pages, we have changed the ordering to show the latest assignment at the top of the list and added a date picker to show updates from a particular day. It will show assignments with their due date.

New threshold average calculation

In line, with national regulations for Maltese schools, we have implemented a new average calculation system which is designed to calculate an average % of assignment grades based on a best out of or threshold system.

Select the assignment types you wish to use for the calculation and add a % to the threshold field. The system will take the best 80% for example of graded assignments using the school-based assessment type or others if needed.

Here is a list of changes, fixes, and minor improvements we have worked on;

Project (MT) - Updated custom CDR tool to synchronise automatically.

School (NA) - Updated term labels.

System - Updated print format of an individual application form from the workflow step.

System (BC) - Updated PSR report to not show draft IEPs

School (ROW) - Updated transcript signature/name of principal.

School (MT) - Cleaned historic data from student profiles.

System - Reworked questionnaire export to show all answered questions.

School (EU) - Reordered index for class levels in admission forms.

System - Fixed an issue where the workflow description was no longer showing on the My Application page.

System - Changed the behaviour of quick reports v1 to show all students regardless of class level being active, archive or new registration. Users can now use the class-level filter to refine the export.

System - Made it possible to add 0 as the reapplication fee when online payments are included in an admissions workflow.

School (BC) - Resolved an issue where LO scales were not wrapping correctly on the grade report PDF.

School (ROW) - An error occurred on the IEP view as the guardian attached to the student had no relationship value. Resolved the issue whereby guardians cannot be set with no relationship type.

System - Fixed an issue with student self-reflections that were resetting after editing in review.

System - Changed the behaviour for online admission step payments to be accepted if the submitter had no account number set.

System - A bug was caused when assignment scales were showing as the scale id instead of the short text code field. This issue was fixed.

System - Resolved an issue with course teachers not being able to view only their course student IEPs in historic years.

System - Resolved an issue when assignments were being graded in the assessment tab of the assignment. The grade was now visible on the grid and assessment tab view.

System - Fixed an issue where the assignment average was showing as HTML code instead of note format.

System - Further improvements and label edits in quick reports v2

System - An issue occurred in the grade report PDF, where spacing and large gaps were being randomly introduced.

System - An email format validation check was put into place for the secondary email on user/student profiles.

Project (EU) - Amended custom grade report to correctly align and show class and principal digital signatures.

School (BC) - A bug was introduced whereby LO grades were not using the correct scale on the student profile assessment tab.

School (MT) - Resolved an issue with the parent-teacher module not allowing specific guardians to book slots.

System - Resolved an issue in the LMS module due to students being dual-enrolled in a class. They were not able to be added to an ongoing assignment via the edit student button.

Project (EU) - Final updates to phase one for baccalaureate grading changes.

Project (EU) - Reworked the primary report to have a fixed date instead of a dynamic one.

System - Further work was carried out in new dashboards by introducing drill-down features.

System (BC) - The PSR report was changed to check the system pass mark, if the grade has not been achieved then no credits will be assigned to the course. The system pass mark can only be set by our support team.

System - Added the possibility to export medical alert data if flagged on the student medical tab.

System - Fixed an issue where on-screen scaled grades were not being produced on the PDF report. The scores were shown as the normalised value.

School (MT) - An issue occurred where parents could not select a date for PT meetings.

System - Fixed an issue where students who were dually enrolled in an active and archive class could not be added to an assignment that had already been published.

School (NA) - Updated term names that were cached on the assess grid.

School (MT) - resolved a problem with the guardian view assignment page not loading correctly.

School (BC) - Resolved an issue with Stripe card payments, not being accepted.

School (BC) - Reset donation management module and cleared legacy records.

School (MT) - Set up custom rebate pages for parents to download. 2024.

System - Further work on payment plans for the next phase of Finance v2.

System - A bug was found in label formatting. No new formats could be added to the configuration.

System - Resolved an issue leading to time out within the people picker when selecting single users. The code was optimised.

System - Added the possibility of exporting students' secondary email fields when exporting a questionnaire.

System - Resolved an issue with rich text links not opening in a new window.

System - An issue occurred with learning outcomes being graded and no evidences were detected to offer the options of set to latest or set to highest.

System - Solved a bug on the assignment grade grid when switching from grade ordering to learning outcomes.

System - Decimals were showing on the grade report PDF when no decimals were selected in subject specifications.

School (NA) - Quick reports v2 was showing an error when student data was not found in connection with a generated invoice.

System - Assignment averages were not being calculated correctly. All assignment averages were checked and aligned with the expected calculations.

System - A bug was found when read-only sections would wipe pick-up permissions already set in the profile.

System - Added a medical alert field to the compact medical report.

School (MT) - Amended tax rebate report to pull from new finance module.

System (ON) - Added further fields to the Ontario reporting module.

System - Resolved an issue with scale assessment types which were not showing on grid view. Removed the numerical scale option as this was redundant.

Project (MT) - A new enrolment status was added to the programme builder, but it was not available in list view filters. This was resolved.

School (BC) - Fixed an issue which was blocking the school from deleting other school data, due to bad data.

Project (EU) - Changed behaviour of transcript to show only published grades.

System - Removed a hard-coded check to allow for editing of student self-reflection. This will now check the settings in the relevant assessment section.

System - My LMS was allowing users to add a non-numerical grade to an assignment. A pop-up was introduced to stop this.

School (ROW) - Resolved an issue where graded LOs could not be removed from the assess grid. Added a null value.

School (BC) - Solved an issue which was blocking users from accessing the assess grid due to data problems.

System - Resolved an issue when adding a student to an existing assignment was causing grades to be removed.

School (BC) - Fixed an issue where decimals were showing on the report PDF, which ignored subject specifications settings.

Project (EU) - Imported tertiary languages for one school.

System (BC) - Amended band codes for 1701 upload to show 4 digits.

Project (EU) - Access lock was still affecting legacy review editing. This was resolved.

System - Resolved a problem with assignment averages showing a 0 value, when they should have shown a null value.

School (BC) - A problem was found with the evidence pop-up not showing correct grades as evidence in the assess list view.

Project (EU) - The promotion rollover tool was not competing tasks and time-out errors were produced. The code was optimised to allow for course creation.

School (MT) - The Guardians were unable to access assignment data via the assignment parent view screen. This was fixed.

System - Fixed an issue for quick reports v2, where columns were not respecting on-screen ordering.

Project (EU) - Resolved an issue with the student legacy transcript view.

Project (EU) - Fixed an issue with legacy custom grade reports not respecting translation settings.

Project (EU) - Transcript scores did not respect rounding rules of 1 decimal place.
